Hello everyone! So I have been working very hard to provide Miui to all of us G2x users. This is a port of Miui HD Celebration by Miui Germany for the Optimus 2x to the T-Mobile G2x. It appears as though everything is working very nicely. What was changed to get this working on the G2x? I`m glad you asked....
Compatibility Changes ~ Changed build.prop and assert scripts to match our phone ~ Swapped RILs with RILs from CM7 ~ Fixed sdcards mounting ~ Fixed Wifi ~ Fixed GPS ~ Fixed FFC picture orientation ~ Added WiFi Calling ~ Internal sdcard mapped to /mnt/sdcard/_InternalSD ~ Removed Warez contained in original build ~ Probably more that I`m forgetting. This took a lot of time and effort to get working on the G2x.

Installation Instructions 1. Download rom zip 2. Boot into CWM recovery 3. Perform a factory reset 4. Format /system 5. Select Install zip from sdcard 6. Navigate to zip and flash. 7. ENJOY!

GETTING THEMES TO WORKNOT NEEDED ON VERSION 1.8.19 AND UP! Very easy. Just create a folder "theme" (without quotes or capital letters) in /data/system and then they will apply just fine. :D
Kernel Info This includes the stock CM7.1 kernel. Other kernels such as Morfics and Faux`s DO WORK, but they have quirks. Sometimes calls can`t be heard using faux`s (reboot usually fixes this) and camera gets wonky using Morfic`s. Flash them at your own risk!
UPDATE - Faux`s latest kernel has been working great on Miui Build 1.7.22. I can`t comment on CHD build but I imagine it will work fine on it as well.
Addtional Info Data not working? Try this - Do a hard reboot by holding the power button + volume up for approximately 10 seconds. Your phone will reboot and data should be working like a champ.
